Tuen Mun Public Library | Workshop on "New Era of IT"

Description

BBC micro:bit is a microcomputer with built-in sensors, an LED display, and wireless transmission capabilities, and it can also be connected to external electronic components. In this workshop, participants will learn about computer programming concepts, get introduced to BBC micro:bit programming, and try to make devices such as pedometers and electronic thermometers.

Note:

Students aged 9-14 are welcome to join.

Reservation starts from 2026/7/11 (Sat). Prior registration can be made by phone or in person at the respective libraries. Conducted in Cantonese. Participation is free. First come, first served.

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or "extreme conditions" announced by the Government is in force 3 hours before the event commences, the event will be cancelled or postponed.
